RALLY IS THREE.

Blimey. Rally has turned three years old.

So it's the time of year when you should keep an eye on your letterbox.

‘Make good trouble’ was one of the first things I scribbled down in my notepad when the idea of Rally started to form. Well, the first thing that I’m prepared to admit to.

Not trouble for trouble's sake you understand. But trouble that would act as a catalyst to change how things get done.

I wanted Rally to work with charities and campaign groups that didn’t want to maintain the status quo.

I wanted Rally to challenge the conventional agency model and create a new way for charities and campaign groups to work with external partners.

I wanted Rally to create a bigger impact than should be possible for a small organisation to do.

So far things are going well.

We‘ve worked with some incredible charities and campaign groups and helped push their and our own thinking around what public engagement looks like and how it can be achieved.

We've rejected the classic agency model of trying to herd all the skills our clients need under one roof. Instead we create bespoke project teams from our network of freelancers and partner agencies - teams with the skills needed to answer the actual questions our client need answers to. OMFG it's so much more fun and so much more effective.

We’ve worked hard to connect brilliant people who otherwise wouldn’t know each other. And we’ve created moments where like-minded people can come together and share inspiration and ideas. Something we definitely want to do more of in year four.

So a big thank you if you’ve appointed us, worked with us, come to one of our events or said nice things on the internet about us. Thank you. We couldn’t do this without you.

Let’s make a pledge. Let’s pledge to make even more trouble - good, necessary trouble.

Thanks.
